In this blog post, I am going to share with you two videos that will help you learn the lowercase brush lettering alphabet. WooHoo!
Video #1: Lowercase Brush Lettering Alphabet
First of all, let’s start with the anatomy of the lowercase alphabet. Watch as I demonstrate each letter using monoline lettering in the first video.
Using monoline lettering, in the beginning, makes it much easier to learn the letterforms because you do not have to worry about getting the pressure of the thick and thin strokes correct. Learn more about how to form each letter in the lowercase brush lettering alphabet in the video below.
Video #2: Brush Lettering Alphabet in Real Time
Now that you know the letterforms and the anatomy of the lowercase alphabet, I am going to demonstrate the brush lettering alphabet for you in the video below.
I created this video in real time so you can see how slow I letter. If you are a beginner, I recommend going slow. So whatever pace you are currently using to letter, try going half that speed to give you time to think about the letterforms, thick and thin strokes and to enjoy the process.
