Video Tutorial:
Step one: do a thumbnail sketch to get a good idea what layout you want to use.
Step two: sketch your phrase in Faux calligraphy. Use light pencil so it doesn’t show through. My free Faux calligraphy class: https://yourcreativeadventure.com/free/
Step three: fill in the downstrokes with the lightest color.
Step four: add the darker colors near the edges, gradual getting darker as you go.
Step five: outline with a white gel pen.
